Mr. Qais S. Qassim is a Ph.D. candidate at science and information technology faculty at National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia - UKM), Selangor, Malaysia. His research focus area is Intrusion Detection, Autonomic Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Information Security. He graduated with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Engineering in April 2008 from Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq and Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Engineering in September 2004 from the same Engineering College.

He most recently held a position of IT lecturer and consultant in Yale Consultancy Snd. Bhd. He has a number of years experience in programming especially in the area of web programming. From 2005 to 2009 he worked as software engineer in the information technology department of Al-Nabaa Group, Baghdad, Iraq.

Mr Qais is a member of Institute of Marketing Malaysia, IMM. He has experienced to develop an editable website for clients. Not only that. his experience in various type of database management, security management has contribute his knowledge and skills to the various clients in the industry. Besides, he has experienced to develop program for KPI projects and assessment programs. Currently, he is working on E-learning portal for the company.
