Mohd Harridon is currently the Head of Aircraft Performance and Reliability at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT). This department deals with the performance of aircrafts (military and commercial) and gives consultations pertaining to the reliability of an aircraft. Mohd Harridon is also attached to the Aerospace Department of UniKL MIAT where he lectures the subject Aircraft Flight Control System and Aircraft Computer System.

Mohd Harridon was trained by Boeing Incorporated in the fields of Aircraft Monitoring System and Aircraft Condition Based Maintenance encompassing military aircrafts and commercial aircrafts. He had worked for the Royal Malaysian Air Force, as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, maintaining a fleet of fighter aircrafts F/A-18D Hornet. Mohd Harridon has also done several consultations for the National Space Agency of Malaysia (ANGKASA). One of them was the Microgravity Experiment where the experiment headed by Mohd Harridon, representing UniKL MIAT, was chosen to be flown on the parabolic flight organized by the Japanese Space Agency (JAXA).

Apart from the consultation works, Mohd Harridon had also actuated several training programmes across Malaysia for New Straits Time, Shell, National Space Agency of Malaysia, National Science Centre, and others. These trainings were mostly in the field of Aircraft Flight Dynamics, Physics, and Green Technology. Mohd Harridon was also involved in the Astronaut Programme of Malaysia where he was the top ten astronaut. During the programme, Mohd Harridon attended the NAVY SEAL Training, Commando Training, and Survival Training and passed with flying colours. He is currently active in the programme where he currently gives talks to students and public pertaining to the astronaut programme. Besides that, Mohd Harridon has also authored several articles and technical papers mainly in the fields of Electric, Aircraft Systems and Structures, Aircraft Health Monitoring, and others. He also lectures part time at Aerospace Department of International Islamic University of Malaysia, lecturing upon the subject of Instrumentation and Avionics.
