Maria Rufina has been in the arena of training and consultancy for the past nine years, Maria has created a niche for herself in the area of HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT. Her vast, hands-on working experience in various fields coupled with BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and MBA in Finance from University Malaya, have contributed greatly to her success in navigating the course of her training right down to the implementation stage. “Strategies that work, Solutions that matter, Results that last” make up key words which define Maria Rufina’s dedication into her scope of work.
Todate, Maria Rufina has conducted over 500 training programs for companies of various industries in Malaysia and Singapore. Some of the companies that have benefited from her training are ExxonMobil, KWSP, Polwell (Singapore), Lembaga Pembangunan & Perbandaran Sabah, Pembinaan Kekal Mewah Sabah, Aeon Co (Jaya Jusco), Suria KLCC, Lafarge Cement, Integrated Logistics, OCBC, Pan Malaysian Pools, British High Commission, Nationwide Express, New Straits Times Press, MISC Berhad, Kumpulan Karangkraf, Satang Jaya, Panasonic, FASL (Fujitsu) and many more.
Maria has also conducted several consultancy projects such as Training Needs Analysis , Employee Opinion Survey, Performance Management System, Performance Appraisal System, HR Policies & Procedures and 360 Degree Feedback for organizations such as Pembinaan Kekal Mewah (Sabah), Goodway Rubber Industries (Seremban), Radicare Sdn. Bhd.), Sinar Jaya Hawa Dingin and many others.
Maria’s previous working experiences as a General Manager of a Training Consultant Firm and QA & Training Manager of an Electronics Company, have certainly contributed greatly towards her successful role as a Trainer & Facilitator. Some of her achievements include leading the companies she served in towards attaining the coveted ISO 9002 certification and becoming finalists of Quality Management Excellence Award and Prime Minister’s Award. She also takes pride in having led a group of QCCs to become gold medalists in QCC Conventions.
Maria Rufina is also a certified trainer for the Australian Workplace Training & Assessment – C4, a Faculty Member for the Malaysian Oxford Association of Management (OXIM), UK; Chairman of the Women Entrepreneurs Development Committee of the KL & Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry; and Asst Honorary Secretary General of the management Council of KL & Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
